Hey, craft beer world! This is my 1st blog ever... I'm Ritta, yep with 2 t's... I really don't know where to start, but, I've been on a craft beer journey for the last 16 years. I love to have an adult beverage and I have bounced around from mixed drinks to wine, & back to craft beer. I started my days of drinking beer with OE 800, believe it or not, that's what was affordable & nowhere near what I drink now. I soon after started trying different beers & began a journey.
My 1st "craft beer" was Sam Adams. I saw a commercial that said they had over 30 types & I was interested in what the hell 30 something different beers would taste like. So, around that time there was a new grocery store that opened in Houston, & I love to cook and bake, so I went & seen a few Sam Adams and quite a few other beers that I've never seen. I'm already amazed at new ingredients to use, but different beer! I was in heaven! I looked at each 1 & went with a Boston lager, cherry wheat, & Mississippi mud beer in a jug. I found myself at that store picking up something new for the weekend every week & it's been on ever since, I've been to breweries more often & thousands of beers later I have an appreciation for the art.
Now you know how I started drinking craft! So let's drink some beer! Cheers
