Happy New Year!!

Hello my fellow craft beer brothas & sistas! I hope y'all had a good start to the New Year, yes I am late to posting.

There is so much beer to talk about! I often get asked about the breweries in Houston so I created my top H-town list. I've seen other list that are very mainstream and not completely craft, in my opinion. So here we go, in no particular order.

First on my list is gonna be B52 Brewing co. It took me a long time to go to this brewery since it's in Conroe and about 50 minutes from my house, but their beers have been very unique & their fruited sours are definitely on the top of my list! I tend to lean towards the breweries that are unique and this is definitely 1 of them. The stouts that I've tried from them are definitely delicious.

Second on my list would have to be Ingenious. Man!!!!!! This is fa sho, is one of my favorite breweries to visit! They definitely are very creative with their beers and I can appreciate that, I love it when people go against the norm, I definitely appreciate creativity. If you ever in Houston, this brewery is a must in my opinion.

Third on my list is gonna have to be Baa Baa Brewhouse in Brookshire, TX. Oh my gosh! Their sours are the best! This is another creative brewery near Houston. Their combos of fruit is so fire, and their beers are thick like a smoothie and the IPA's are ridiculously good! If you have a family with small kids, they are one of the breweries that cater to kids and activities.

Fourth on my list is gonna have to be Sigma Brewing Co. to me it has the feel of a neighborhood bar/ brewery. You can go and become one of the regulars here. Everyone that works here will make you feel like family, and at the same time they also have some fire ass beers. They are one of the most underrated breweries that one can appreciate. All of the times that I've visited, I never had to worry about crying kids or dogs wondering about. This is definitely a 21 & over spot and I applaud them on that! I love kids & dogs but I'm definitely one of those who want to go out and not having to worry about hearing kids cry & dogs barking. If you want to get away from chaos at home this is the place.

Fifth on my list is gonna have to go to Spindletap brewery. Their IPA's are ridiculous! They recently did a stout called Ingrained and it was fire! If you are hungry Spindletap is the place for some brisket pizza. It's a great spot if you want to hang out outside, with plenty tables and outdoor space for soccer, softball and basketball. They also have activities that cater to those with kids, teens or little ones.

Sixth on my list is gonna have to be Moon-tower Inn. Yep that's the name, and it's not a hotel/ motel. This is definitely my go to spot! It's all outdoor space, with great burgers and some fire ass game hotdog, everything from deer to pheasant. This place is great to hang out with friends around the fire pit. They also have a stage that they set up for live performances and/ or a DJ. This place can get packed and it's also another great spot to go without any kids and dogs running around.

Urban outh HTX. This was a highly anticipated brewery to open. They came onto the scene strong with their SPILLED, super fruited beers and their IPA's. I expect to see and taste a lot from them this year, and the brewery is close to downtown.

So, if you ever visit Houston or live in Houston and want some good beer, these are my go-to places... Cheers y'all and get out and drink craft!
