Black is Beautiful Holler Brewing w/ Hop Topic World

In collaboration with Holler Brewing Co., we brewed our iteration of the Weathered Souls Black is Beautiful beer. We loved the recipe the way Weathered Souls designed it -- a pure expression of dark malts in a clean imperial stout -- so we brewed it to the recipe without alteration, and we're glad we did. This beauty pours jet-black with a thick, caramel-colored foam. It features rich aromas of dark chocolate and espresso, and a bottomless depth of flavor, expressing the wide array of premium roasted malts used in production. Cascade hops were generously employed to provide a balancing bitterness and a crisp finish. We tested it yesterday and, believe it or not, this 10% stout can still be enjoyed in Houston, outdoors, at 4:00 PM. All proceeds will go to the Greater Houston Black Chamber, whose mission is to support African-American small businesses in the areas of education, certification and accessing contracting opportunities and capital. We'll be releasing this beer in Twistee cans (16 oz / 25.4 oz) on Saturday at noon. Hop Topic World will be at the brewery spreading the gospel and Tacos Bomberos will be spreading the guac.
