Hop Topic is intentionally striving to create more opportunities for underrepresented groups.
Structural and behavioral barriers prevent underrepresented groups from knowing that they can have a career in craft beer and even own their own brewery. Hop Topic events provide exposure to new possibilities for their future.
We brewed a beer in collaboration with Crafty Brothas and Turkey Forrest Brewing.
We invited a few local college students who had an interest in only drinking beer to experience the brewing process, and they had a great time learning about the process and management.
Being able to provide this eye-opening experience is what Hop Topic is proud to do.
The craft beer community needs a culture that embraces diversity & and inclusion, and we aim to meet this need.
